The All-on-4 dental implant treatment is designed as a fixed, non-removable, solution to traditional dentures. In as little as one day, we can transform people’s mouths with a fixed set of replacement teeth!

How the All-on-4
Treatment Works

All-on-4 dental implants are used to replace an entire set of teeth, or all your teeth, with stable, comfortable and natural looking fixed bridges that don’t slip or fall out- in one visit.

To start, we will make a full oral assessment, covering both aesthetic and medical aspects, 3D imaging, model planning and detailed design before any implant surgery is started. We will also take the time to answer questions and address any concerns you may have.

Then we begin the treatment by placing 4 - 6 implants, depending on how many teeth are being replaced, and then a fixed bridge is attached. The procedure is done while you are under local anaesthesia so you won’t feel a thing.

After your mouth has fully healed and the titanium screws are fully integrated, generally in 4-6 months time, we will ask you to return to practice so that we can fit your definitive, fixed long-term bridge.

The All-on-4 procedure has proven to be successful in more than 95% of all patients and is an effective solution to patients who don’t want, or aren’t able to have, standard bridges or dentures.

Will The All-On-4 Treatment Hurt?

The All-On-4 treatment, though incredibly safe, is an invasive procedure. In order to eliminate any discomfort we put our patients under sedation while the implants and bridge are put in place. When this is finished, it’s not uncommon to feel some temporary aching or minor soreness. However, any pain can be easily treated with our post-operative, managed medication protocol.

How Long Do All-On-4 Implants Last?

All dental implants, including the All-On-4, need the same day to day care as natural teeth. As long as you practice good oral hygiene, which includes regular brushing, flossing and visits to your Airport Dental hygienist and dentist, there’s no reason your new implants won’t ideally last for decades.
